On May 13, 2022, FEMA will release the FY 2022 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) Notice of Funding Opportunity. This fiscal year, Community Preparedness and Resilience has been added as an additional priority area. Following the release, FEMA’s Individual and Community Preparedness Division (ICPD) and the Preparedness Grants Division (PGD) will host an Adobe Connect webinar series focused on the new “Enhancing Community Preparedness and Resilience” National Priority Area (NPA). As a part of this call, you will hear from ICPD Director Aaron Levy and PGD Deputy Director Ginny Warren on: • How to use the HSGP to effectively mitigate DHS concerns on terrorism • Guidance on meeting requirements for the “Enhancing Community Preparedness and Resilience” NPA • Additional guidance on how to submit a strong application for the HSGP These webinars are offered to provide clearer guidance. In addition, we encourage you to work with your State Administrative Agency and/or Urban Area Working Group. Please bring your HSGP-related questions to the webinar session. Any meeting logistical questions can be directed to FEMA-Prepare@fema.dhs.gov.
