Laura Stahnke, P.E. Laura is a Water Resource Engineer with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). She specializes in Benefit Cost Analysis and Technical Feasibility review for Hazard Mitigation Grant programs in FEMA Region 8. Before joining the public sector, Laura worked with a consulting firm on floodplain modeling projects and hydraulic/hydrology studies. She has a B.S. Civil Engineering from University of Portland, a M.S. Water Resource Engineering from University of Texas and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Texas and Colorado.
