This 60-minute session will introduce community lifelines and how FEMA's grant programs support these efforts. Topics include:

•Define what community lifelines are and why they are important for resilience;
•Discuss how lifelines and mitigation fit together;
•Identify how BRIC mitigation projects can be designed and implemented to protect lifelines; and
•Provide examples of how community lifelines are protected through hazard mitigation projects.
