Before the end of February 2021, The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/ Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will release the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) Notice of Funding Opportunity. The NSGP provides funding support for security-related and physical security enhancements to nonprofit organizations. The NSGP promotes emergency preparedness coordination and collaboration activities between public and private community representatives as well as state, local, and tribal government agencies. The DHS Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives is hosting this webinar to provide information, tips and how to apply for the NSGP, and other Department of Homeland Security (DHS) resources that support the safety and security of houses of worship, non-profits and faith and community-based organizations. In addition, we will learn perspectives from faith and community leaders about the NSGP and ways you can keep your facility safe and secure from all hazards.
