Please join Region II and Region VIII National Preparedness Divisions for a webinar on how to engage youth virtually in preparedness activities during COVID-19. This webinar will feature a discussion on FEMA programs and other resources that encourage youth to take preparedness actions and explore careers in emergency management. This webinar will feature information on how to engage youth in school communities and youth-serving organizations to support participation in preparedness activities. With school districts, afterschool programs, and other community programs adapting their learning environments virtually due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, there is an opportunity for all communities to work with schools and programs on boosting participation in preparedness activities in a virtual setting. Who should attend? Individuals and families; K-12 teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors; faith-based institutions that feature youth programming; youth-serving organizations.
