FEMA will host a series of 60-minute webinar sessions to provide an overview of the draft Local Elected and Appointed Officials Guide and to gather feedback from whole community partners. The sessions will help improve the existing draft. FEMA seeks real-world examples, along with general feedback, that can be incorporated into the guide. Advance registration is required and on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, click on Register Now below. Comments made during the webinars are for discussion purposes only. To provide input, visit www.fema.gov/plan to download the line-numbered version of the draft “Local Elected and Appointed Officials Guide” and feedback form. The completed feedback form can be sent to NPD-Planning@fema.dhs.gov. This open comment period will conclude on April 22, 2022.
